Role Overview

 

The Member Experience Liaison serves as a bridge between BGSC leadership and the general membership body, supporting the Member At Large in elevating the voices, needs, and experiences of members across the organization.

This role exists to ensure members feel seen, heard, and valued, especially as BGSC continues to grow. This project-based, flexible position is ideal for someone passionate about sisterhood, community wellness, and thoughtful feedback collection.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Serve as a thought partner and support role to the Member At Large
  • Advise on member concerns, celebrations, and cultural insights across chapters
  • Help shape and refine initiatives related to the member experience
  • Assist with planning for quarterly Listening Seat sessions, a town hall-style experience for member feedback and key updates
  • Collect and summarize feedback received during sessions to inform leadership planning
  • Support special projects, programming and initiatives centered on member engagement

     

Member Experience Liaison Weekly/Monthly Required Task

  • Weekly Check ins via slack with MAL for how you can support member experience
  • Host Quarterly Listening Seat Session (Townhall style, see below for details)
  • Develop Committee rollout plan + oversee Committee support for chapters/members
  • Support Classes with hosting member led events


 

Part-time, contractor position. $18/hr 5 hours weekly
