As part of our team, you oversee multiple chapters and ensure efficient operations, administration, and logistics while planning and facilitating regional events. Our chapter operations is a complex machine. In this role, you will use your administrative experience and expertise to ensure we are constantly improving our processes, recognizing and promoting talent, and maintaining synchronicity amongst chapters through the implementation of BGSC policies while planning engaging events for members to participate in.
This is a remote position with the preferred candidate located in Bermuda, UK, Dubai, Germany, South Korea
. Pay is $18/hr with 5-10 hours a week to start.
This is a part-time/contracted (monthly stipend provided), middle management position. Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in an administrative or leadership role directly relevant to our industry.
This role provides specific support to the Chapter Presidents and Vice Presidents, as well as addresses regional needs based on demographics, and a number of other socio-economic factors.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Manage the needs and activities of the Division
- Regularly scheduled check-ins with Chapter Presidents
- Plan Division events
- Assist in other needs during leadership vacancies
- Review and evaluate Presidents' performance
Essential Job Responsibilities – Performance Indicators
Supervision (50%)
- Coach and evaluate the performance of Chapter Leadership
- Facilitate conflict resolution.
- Promote a consistent exchange of information across the division.
- Encourage and support chapter engagement.
Systems Evaluation and Development (30%)
- Plan and facilitate regular leadership meetings.
- Participate in the design of internal structures, systems, and policies.
- Ensure adequate systems are in place to maintain the highest quality of services for chapter members in compliance with BGSC guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in member experience across chapters; encourage continuous improvement of systems.
- Ensure coordination among chapters, within the organization.
- Participate in the development of division initiatives and projects
Public Relations & Events (10%)
- Plan and facilitate regional BGSC events for members
- Establish and maintain relationships and collaborations with public figures, institutions, and community groups
- Attend organizational planning meetings as appropriate.
- Participate in professional development activities and organized community events.
- Design and deliver formal presentations.
- Represent BGSC at president meetings, as needed.
- Regular formal presentations to the BGSC community and community groups to provide information and ensure collaboration.
Budgets and Resources (10%)
- Oversee the efforts of chapter leadership in the monitoring and control of division budgets; identification and interpretation of BGSC Chapter needs
- Participate in the distribution of chapter materials and resources
